Baseball is a sport in Wii Sports. It can have 1 or 2 players and the aim of the game is to deafeat your opponent.
Gameplay[edit | edit source]
The game has three innings. Player 1 bats first. Players swing the Wii remote to hit the ball. They can get an out, strikeout, single, double, triple, home run or out of the park. All the fielding is done automatically. When throwing, a player can hold A, B or both to change the throwing style. If a player is 5 or more runs ahead of their opponent at the end of an inning (except the third one, which is the end of the match), the game is finished. The highest possible skill level is over 3000.
Throwing[edit | edit source]

Screwball | A | A fast ball which curves to the right. |
Curveball | B | A fast ball which curves to the left. |
Splitter | A + B | Slows down and bounces when it gets to the batter, but can often cause a "ball". |
